TSOG: The Thing that Ate the Constitution and other everyday monsters by Robert Anton Wilson

TSOG:
The Thing that Ate the Constitution
and other everyday monsters

by Robert Anton Wilson

Foreword By Bobby Campbell
Afterwords by Steven James Pratt & R. Michael Johnson
Illustrations by Linda Joyce Franks

Available in eBook and Print Editions!

For decades, right-wing anti-Semites have been incensed by the ZOG, or Zionist Occupational Government, that they believe ruled America. Wilson parodied that by imaginatively seeing America’s Drug Tsar as the direct successor of the Russian Tsars, ignoring the US constitution, and leading a Tsarist Occupational Government. Indeed, the story of a Nazi spy with ties to Mystical Tsarism becoming the CIA’s major asset in fighting the cold war with the Soviets begins this tale of America in 2002, at the start of America’s linguistically-challenged “War on Terrorism.” “Humans at war with ideas” sits at the heart of this amusing and disturbing volume where absurdity comes face to face with insanity. In one chapter, Wilson considers why mass murderer Hannibal Lecter would make a better president than George W Bush.

In examining the corroding effects of the American military-corporate juggernaut, Robert Anton Wilson notes, “Some may think I regard the Constitution as an almost sacred text. Not at all: I admit it has a few defects and blemishes. I just consider it a hell of a lot better than the system we have now.”

We’ve included three new essays in this edition…

Gnomes Of Zurich And Pandora’s Box

“Switzerland boasts that it has more banks than dentists. There are, in all, 4,200 banking outlets, or one for every 1,300 people.”--TIME, 1965.
“The Grand Lodge Alpina is the largest Freemasonic lodge in Switzerland and therefore attracts much attention from anti-Masonic conspirirologists. European conspiracy buffs have long believed the GLA controls the finances of the Western World through the banks they own in Zurich, Basel, and Geneva.”--Robert Anton Wilson, Grand Lodge Alpina. Everything Is Under Control. (1998) pg. 210.

As an avid reader of the late great trickster, Robert Anton Wilson, the phrase, “The Gnomes Of Zurich” has been burned into my neurons for over two decades. In my minds-eye, when I hear those three words I get flashes of the film Amelie and the kidnapped Gnome, mixed with blurred images of the Kabouter on the label of the strong Belgian beer, La Chouffe’ a meme of Gnome Chomsky and now a Gnome/Pandora mythical hybrid creature.

Gnome entered our language by way of the Swiss alchemist Paracelsus, and grew a little since the 19th century due to the fad of garden gnome statues, probably how most people encounter them in the wild. Gnomes are related to Dwarfs and sprites, to magic mushrooms and mischievous little people who fuck with you if you fuck with them. But it’s the Swiss species of Gnomes that interest us here, or the 1960’s British Labour M.P’s interpretation of Swiss Gnomes that resulted in their comparison with secretive underground Swiss bankers.

Mischievous little men in underground bunkers, weaponsmiths, guards of gold mines, and other mines. This mixing of metaphors creates a toxic gaseous mixture, indeed, I’d say something that would piss the Gnomes right off. Using them as scapegoats for very simply put...bad and sad greedy men who seize power by any means and adore private men’s clubs, Rolex watches and whiskey.

The term Gnomes Of Zurich was minted on record by Labour M.P George Brown in 1964, which by osmosis soon appeared to Harold Wilson’s speeches, charging a secretive Swiss banker cabal of selling Britain short and pushing the value of the Pound down. “More powerful than all the governments of Europe” Harold once said. What were the public to make of these mysterious Gnomes? What if they'd been called the Dwarfs Of Zuruch? (Ask's the MGT)

Like any seemingly new idea, minted into the public arena, Swiss Bankers and other bankers and their secretive (for profit) practices, disruption and questionable collaborations have been tracked and addressed by a small but significant lineage of brave independent investigative journalists. Give thanks to those bringing scrutiny and meaningful critique.

Wilson recommend some early-mid 20th century economists C.H Douglas, Silvio Gessel, John Maynard Keynes, plus the economic ideas of Buckminster Fuller and Karl Popper, (social credit a.k.a universal basic income) to add clarity to a critique of international unrestricted finance capital. As a counter perspective to the premise of these banker conspiracies to put public funds into private pockets with exceptionalism (offshore tax loopholes) and a mostly male underground culture of secret societies and private members groups. Priviliged to the highest degree.

I suspect R.A.W was drawn to the term Gnomes Of Zurich for a number of reasons. Firstly, he devoured literature on folk history, mythical tales, phenomenology and magical entities. Gnomes are a somewhat popular manifestation and continued folkloric tradition in gardens worldwide. Iconic. RAW commented, or joked that he was no relation to UK Prime Minister Harold Wilson, when rapping on Gnomes. Typically in RAW's writing and speech, the GOZ are one group of suspiciously secretive entities at play in his operatic investigative performance, more than 40 years deep. Gnomes also thread into RAWs on-going research into the Grand Lodge Alpina, and “alp” has significance to fans of James Joyce’s masterpiece Finnegans Wake, alp represents the ubiquitous feminine entity Anna Livia Plurabella. I digress. RAW ties this together neatly in his book Coincidance: A Head Test, which I highly recommend.

Pandora's Buried Box

In light of the Pandora Papers leak/release, we can bridge some time gaps in this epic narrative horror. Surfing in the wake of unrestricted international finance capitalism. Bankers, spies, oligarchs and kleptocrats operate within the laws they create and outside of them. This much seems clear to me.
What the Pandora papers show, after a first brief reading of some articles--and I feel is important for all researchers to keep in mind--is the international reach of these elite bad-money actors. Not only Swiss, most of Europe, America, Russia, Arabia, the nationality of the bad actors is not the focus here, get a grip! It’s the criminality and the greed, the dodging of regulation, the dodging of paying a fair-share of tax, the collaboration with violence prone thieves from all parts of the world, that I feel needs to be addressed, curtailed.

Like the Panama Papers previously, the Pandora Papers are a part of the tale of the tribe, the once hidden counter-forces, highly funded and manipulating world-around economies, finance, culture and politics, the polar opposite of the artistic endeavour to tell this tale honestly for the benefit of all the people and the general heart.

Today, 23 years after RAW published Everything Is Under Control, the latest findings from the Pandora Papers seem to confirm aspects of these pre-existing banking and finance conspiracies, operating in the present day (2021). This quote from a feature on Fidinam criss-crosses with Angleton’s operations traced by RAW in his essay TSOG.
“One of Fidinam’s longtime clients, Delfo Zorzi, was under investigation for decades for his alleged involvement in two deadly terror attacks: a 1969 Milan bank bombing that killed 16 people and a 1974 bombing, also in Italy, that left eight people dead. He fled to Japan shortly after the second attack and became a successful fashion entrepreneur.”--ICIJ, Leak reveals how Swiss wealth consultants shield global cast of suspects.

This perspective on Swiss banking practices from a BBC News item (2010), sprawls out and down, into the horrors of WW2, begging the question who benefits?

“The secretive Swiss were seen as helping ruthless international capitalists and dictators avoid taxes and protect their wealth. In World War II, neutral Switzerland appeared to help Nazi Germany financially, while taking deposits from Jewish victims of the Holocaust. It failed to return many of the assets after the war and in recent years some Swiss banks have agreed multi-million pound settlements with families to avoid being sued.--Why Are Swiss Bankers Called Gnomes? BBC, 2010.
One way to help bring scrutiny to these entities is to support independent investigative journalists and those who exhibit integrity and brevity while uncovering facts and sharing them. It strikes me that most but not all 2021 popular conspiracy culture is stuck in supernatural goo, oversimplified fantasy and outright crazy, as if Netflix shapes the majority of global perspectives on conspiracies, aliens, Covid, serial killers and MK Ultra. Although there are a handful of documentaries (Inside Job,) and fictional renditions of global banking conspiracies (The Big Short), I feel that there should be way more of them. Every one of these stories from the Pandora Papers deserves a non-fictional documentary feature, and a series of fictional interpretations to help get at the truth and the occulted history of international finance capital at its worst.

I hope not to come across as banker bashing here, I’ve known bankers who have been very kind and decent people. To put on their leather shoes for a moment, no doubt many people would make the choices they make in the tricky positions they are in, bankers are not exclusively all bad actors. Browse the Pandora papers and make up your own mind, and if you wish to dive down a rabbit hole or two, latch onto Robert Anton Wilson’s research based thinking on the history of international finance and practice his recommended techniques for better processing of information: linguistic relativity, falsification, model agnosticism, maybe logic, semantic hygiene, good cheer! It's a jungle out there, take care. Be good to each other.

--Fly
“In David Yallop’s anti-Vatican blockbuster “In God’s Name,” he alleges several suspicious links between the P2 conspiracy in Italy and the Grand Lodge Alpina.”
“Other writers on P2 agree that it took money from both the KGB and the CIA, had over 900 agents in the Italian government, used the Vatican Bank to launder Mafia and CIA drug money, fomented fascism in Latin America, and was allegedly plotting a fascist coup in Italy when, after the mysterious deaths of ringleaders Roberto Calvi and Michele “The Shark” Sindona, the whole house of cards came tumbling down.”
--Grand Lodge Alpina. Everything Is Under Control. (1998) pg. 210.

"From this story has grown the idiom "to open a Pandora's box", meaning to do or start something that will cause many unforeseen problems. A modern, more colloquial equivalent is "to open a can of worms"

"I am not an enemy of funding systems.... But every bank of
discount, every bank by which interest is to be paid or profit of
any kind made by the deponent, is downright corruption. It is
taxing the public for the benefit and profit of individuals; it is
worse than the old tenor, continental currency, or any other paper
money...--John Adams, Letter to Benjamin Rush, 1811.

How The CIA learned to rock by Jeet Heer (excerpt)

Tsog update in the words of Jeet Heer, bravo. Bang on.

James Jesus Angleton, chief of CIA counterintelligence from 1954 to 1975, was nicknamed “the Poet.” Before he was a spy, he had literary aspirations. As an undergraduate at Yale, he wrote verse and, more impressively, coedited the literary journal Furioso, which published poets like E.E. Cummings, Ezra Pound, and William Carlos Williams.
Angleton was an aesthete turned tormentor. The two facets of his personality were combined in disturbing ways. His literary sensibility was nurtured on the close reading taught by the New Criticism, with William Empson’s classic Seven Types of Ambiguity (1930) being an especially formative influence. Empson taught Angleton that no line of poetry had just one meaning, that the job of the reader was to squeeze out every ambiguity and hidden implication. Angleton notoriously applied this methodology to the interrogation of Soviet defectors, never taking them at face value but constantly pressuring them to reveal their covert intentions, always postulating that they might be double agents, and sometimes torturing them.
Strange as it may seem, Angleton’s use of high modernism for spycraft was hardly unique. The CIA in its first few decades was led by Ivy League eggheads. Angelton’s protégé Cord Meyer often hired literary critics from The Kenyon Review, an organ of the New Criticism, to work as spies.

How to Live Eleven Days in 24 Hours by Robert Anton Wilson

How to Live Eleven Days in 24 Hours
by Robert Anton Wilson
http://www.kelsung.com/calendar/RAW.htm

Special to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise

For about a year now, I have dated all my letters with my own no-bias multi-cultural calendar. Of course, I know a multi-cultural chronology seems very Politically Correct, but don't let that shock you. I happen to agree with the P.C. cult about many things. In fact, I only differ with them in not liking their intolerance, their fascist tactics, their introduction of Maoist brainwashing to our groves of Academe, and their utter lack of humor or ordinary common sense. Aside from those issues, I almost approve the P.C. agenda.

Actually, I started using a single non-Western calendar back in 1969-71 when working on Illuminatus with Bob Shea. I had realized that the Gregorian calendar, the standard Occidental system, dates everything from the alleged birth of a comic-book super-hero I regarded as fictitious. He supposedly had a virgin for mother, a pigeon for father, and cured the blind by throwing dirt in their eyes. You can see why I had doubts.

But dating everything, a la Pope Gregory, not only subliminally conditions to us to the mythology of the Vatican, but also divides written history artificially in the middle, creating a certain off- kilter view of how things actually transpired since neolithic times.

For instance, in the Gregorian calendar, the first Egyptian dynasty began c. 3400 "B.C.", the founding of Rome 509 "B.C." and the nomination of the boar hog Pigasus for President of the U.S. in 1968 "A.D." To try to escape the Papist trap here by writing "B.C.E.," before the Common Era, and "C.E.,"the Common Era," doesn't really help much. We still remain stuck in the Romish reality tunnel.

Even worse side effects of the Gregorian calendar arise when you try to sense the time span covered in the dates just mentioned. It requires hard thinking, a historical imagination and even, for those as close to senility as myself, possible paper and pencil work. In the Illuminati calendar, however, these events fall into place in a single timeline: Egypt's first dynasty begins around 600 A.L., the founding of Rome 3491 A.L. and the apotheosis of Pigasus 5968 A.L. (A.L., as in Masonry, means Anno Lumina—year of light.) Fill in a few more dates—Hassan I Sabbah illuminated 5092 A.L., Native Americans discover Columbus 5492 A.L., U.S. Declaration of Independence 5776 A.L., Noble Drew Ali born 5886 A.L.—and history begins to make sense as a single orderly sequence, not bent in the middle.

The Illuminati chronology (year one A.L. or 4000 BCE Gregorian) begins with the birth of Hung Mung, the ancient Chaoist (pre-Taoist), Chinese philosopher who answered all questions by shouting loudly, "I don't know! I don't know!" Thus, this system begins with a date around the first dawnings of civilization and writing, and allows us to see all history as a single sequence, not interrupted by an artificial minus- to-plus changeover to commemorate the god of a single weird cult.

As I say, I worked all this out, including the five seasons of the Illuminati year, back in 5969/5971 A.L.—just as "the sixties" died under the clubs and tear gas of the Nixon counter-revolution. Only c. 5992 A.L. after discovering Noble Drew Ali and the Moorish Science Temple, did I realize that any one calendar, even my own lovely Illuminati chronolog, imposes a single order on a complex system, and thereby has reductionist and almost totalitarian implications, at least subliminally. I therefore have switched to a multi-cultural system which, I dare to think, adequately represent what historian Crane Brinton called the growing multanimity (as distinguished from unanimity) of Spaceship Earth today.

For instance, in my multicultural calendars the date on which I began writing this article looks as shown below :
Poundian—19 Artemis, 72 p.s. U.
Thelemic—19 September, Anno XC
'Pataphysical—12 Absolu, 122 E.P.
French Revolutionary—Le Travail, 202
Islamic—12 Rabi-2, 1373 A.H.
Gregorian—19 September 1994 C.E.
Erisian—43 Bureaucracy, 3178 y.C.
Chinese—15th day of the 8th month, Year of the Dog 4692
Mayan—6 Reed, 5106
Hebrew—14 Tishri, 5755 A.M.
Illuminati—43 Beamtenherrschaft, 5994 A.L.
A few quick, and valuable lessons, immediately leap out of this chronolog .
First of all, the much touted "Millenium" only appears close in some calendars, and remains e.g. 245 years off in the Hebrew, 798 years away in the 'Pataphysical, etc.

Second, when I called this system mine I did not intend to brag, but to indicate personal limitations and emic realities: many alternatives can exist, at the preference of the user. You can drop the Chinese and Mayan, if you want, or add the Tibetan and Aztec, etc. Personally, I would love to include Wiccan and Druidic dating systems, if somebody would find them or create them.
A few additional words of explanation:

The Poundian calendar, designed by Ezra Pound, attempts to define the post-Christian era and dates everything from 31 October 1921 (Gregorian)—the date Joyce wrote the last words of Ulysses.[*] (The "p.s.U." means post scriptum Ulysses, "after the writing of Ulysses.") I November 1921, accordingly, becomes 1 Hephaistos in the year 1 p.s.U. The year has 6 male months for the solar phallic male gods (Hephaistos, Zeus, Saturn, Hermes, Mars, Phoebus, i.e. in Gregorian, November, December, January, February, March and April) and 6 female months for the lunar female goddesses (Kupris, Juno, Athene, Hestia, Artemis, Demeter i.e. in Gregorian May, June, July, August September and October.) In this system, we have progressed 72 years into the post-Christian epoch and will soon enter the 73rd.

For those who have other ideas about when the post-Christian era began, the Thelemic calendar dates everything from 1904 Gregorian, when Aleister Crowley received, or conceived The Book of the Law. That makes this the year 90, which like all years gets written Latin style by Thelemites—Anno XC. For some reason, Crowley did not rename the months, so I keep the Gregorian month names here.

As a multiculturalist, I play no favorites. In one sense, we have evolved 72 years beyond the Christ cult, and in another sense we have evolved 90 years. As Sri Syadasti said, "All systems are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense." A secret Illuminati teaching holds that if you repeat that 666 times, you will achieve Total Illumintaion, in some sense.

For those who agree that we have entered the 'Pataphysical Era, I include the 'Pataphysical calendar, starting from Alfted Jarry's birth on 8 September 1873. (He shares the 8 September birthday with the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Catholic mythos and Molly Bloom in the Joycean mythos. 'Pataphysically that "coincidence" must mean something.) Thus every 'Pataphysical year begins on Jarry's birthday, renamed 1 Absolu, and proceeds through 13 months of 29 days each (Absolu, Maha, As, Sable, Decervelage, Gueles, Pedale, Clinamen, Palotin, Merdre, Gidouille, Tatane and Phalle.) Since each week has seven days and each month four weeks, and 7 x 4 = 28, we have one extra day each month. We call these days "imaginary" by analogy with imaginary numbers. Every month starts on a Sunday, which simplifies the system and ensures that the 13th will always fall on a Friday. As UFO sightings, UFO abductions, poltergeists, Bigfoot encounters and falls of fish and frogs get reported more and more often, many may find the 'Pataphysical calendar the most plausible of all. As Jarry said, all other sciences deal with generalization, but 'Pataphysics deals only with the exceptional.

The French Revolutionary calendar dates everything from 1792 Gregorian, and as I write this amid the five Sansculotides or feast days (Les Vertus, Le Genie, Le Travail, L'Opinion and Les Recompenses, i.e. Virtues, Genius, Labor, Blather and Wages. No month name gets used. In three days (22 September) the month of Vendemaire, in the year 203 begins, followed by Brumaire, Frimaire, Nivose, Pluvose, Ventose, Germinal, Floreal, Prairial, Messidor, Thermidor and Frustidor. (i.e. Vintage, Fog, Sleet, Snow, Rain, Wind, Sprouts, Flowers, Pasture, Harvest, Heat, Fruit—a good description of a year in Paris).

The Islamic calendar begins with the flight of the prophet (hejira) in the year 4621 A.L. (621 Gregorian). A.H. means after the Hejira, the usual abbreviation used by Muslims writing in English; this year thus becomes 1373 A.H. You can look up the months in any encyclopedia. I don't intend to do all the work for you, and if I did, this article would run longer than the editors want.

You already know the Gregorian calendar. It gets drummed into our heads in our allegedly "secular" "public" schools and everybody in our society who holds power—banks, corporations, even governments—uses it. My system intends to break the conditioning/hypnosis created by this artificial uniformity.

The Erisian calendar, which we owe to the sublime genius of Malclypse the Younger, dates events from 2816 A.L. (1184 BCE, Gregorain), the year of the Original Snub. If you don't know about the Original Snub, go thou and read Mal's Principia Discordia, from Loompanics Unlimited in Port Townsend, Washington, wherein you will find the Snub, together with the Golden Apple, the Trojan War, and everything else in the universe, explained once and for all. Each year has five seasons, representing the five degrees of SNAFU imposed upon us by the Original Snub—Chaos, Discord, Confusion, Bureaucracy and International Relations. That gives us 73 days to each season, which equals one Chockmah day in Cabala. Herein the Wise and Subtle will find a profound secret hidden, if they can Know, and Dare, and Will and Keep Silence. Every fourth year, of course, we run into that damned extra day that also perplexes the Gregorians. We Erisians call it St. Tibb's Day, since everybody now agrees that St. Tibb never existed.

The Chinese calendar makes more sense than any of the others, but I find it too complex to explain in full. You look it up, eh? Meanwhile, rest satisfied that we now live in the year 4692, and you don't have to worry about any damned Millenium for another 308 years.

I find the Mayan calendar even more perplexing, but keep it on my letters because I like the names of the days: Crocadile, Night, Snake, Deer, Jade, Monkey, Reed, Eagle, Thought, Storm, Wind, Net, Death, Rabbit, Dog, Tooth, Jaguar, Wax, Knife, Hunter. Sort of sounds like my last acid trip. This year counts as 5106 of this cycle, but numerous cycles roll on and on and do not necessarily end in 2012 Gregorian, whatever you may have heard; that may just mark the opening of another mega-cycle.

You can look up the Hebrew dating system for yourself, too. Really, do you think you can learn anything important without personal effort?

The Illuminati years you already know. The five seasons have the names Verwirrung, Zweitracht, Unordnung, Beamtennherrwschaft and Realpolitik, each 73 days long. Like the Gregorians and Erisians, we thus have an extra day dangling loose every four years. We call it Heiligefliegendekindersheissetag, and it has rituals that beat all hell out of Saint Tibb's Day.

The beauty of this multicultural system, to me, resides in its total lack of allegience to any one emic reality, and in its conditioning the users to think in comparative realities. Thus, to most Americans, December 25 means Christ-mass and even the atheists feel dragged into the Reality Grid of the Romish cult. But on my multiple calendar system, the same date appears in many guises—as 25 Zeus, 72 p.s.U. or as 25 December Anno XC or as 25 Sable 122 E.P. or as 5 Nivose, 203, or as 22 Rajab, 1373 A.H. or as 67 International Relations, 3178 y.C., or as the 22nd day of the 11th month, 4692, or as 11 Dog, 5106, , or as 23 Teves 5755 A.M., or as 67 Realpolitik, 5994 A.L. You have a wide choice of what to celebrate. Why not celebrate all of them? But don't go driving afterwards.

I want to thank Hakim Bey, James Koehnline, Gregory Hill and John ver der Does for help with parts of this multi-calendar. If anybody finds any mistakes, please notify me at once. Of course, my basic motive in trying to popularize this system lies in the hope that some people will use it and get cured of asking, "But which is the real date?" Then they might start to see the fallacy of all questions in that form, and we will achieve a large part of the goals of General Semantics, Erisianism, Deconstructionism and Buddhism. Some may even understand why no form of "is" or "be" appears anywhere in this article.

* Pound had his 36th birthday on that date also. You can't expect an egomaniac, even one as generous as Ez, to leave himself entirely out of the dating of the New Age.

The Panamamamatrix: Tsarists and Nazis and spooks, oh my!

The CIA Nazi Tsarist Alliance, rolled in Panamamamatrix.

The Panama papers are hitting headlines everywhere, hard, from the tabloids to the more respected journals, to the underground. It seems to me that the 99 % of humanity are justified in the distrust of the 1%, or to narrow it down further, the inner secret sanctuary of international unrestricted finance. The racket, robbing the world, cheating the rest of the 99% of the worlds population out of their equal share of the worlds resources, technological innovations and freedom.

Long before the Panama papers hit town, and before Bernie Sanders called out Panama as a bit of a dodgy 'offshore' financial operations centre, the late great Robert Anton Wilson spent a lifetime tracking the worldwide cabal of cheats, spies, financiers and all-around-the-world liars, he might refer to this topic of his research as the CIA Tsarist Nazi alliance. The alliance between spooks, Nazi’s like General Reinhardt Gehlen, American’s like James Jesus Angleton and J. Edgar Hoover, Brits like Kim Philby, and Russian’s such as General Vlasov. If nationality were to be the main method to categorize these global fire starters, and precursors to the skull-duggery revealed in the Panama papers.

Dr Wilson liked to source and reference all of his sources, and interestingly, his ‘historical illuminatus’ fiction, contain an equal amount of reliable, documented and published sources, with a particular bearing on the current story of the Panama papers, and the Tsarist Nazi CIA connections, plus the Vatican, Mafia and The Knights of Malta, for good measure. The murder of Lady Diana too, if you follow the Kashoggi trail.

The Panama papers, if they are what they claim to be, are outlines of a global conspiracy, a new ‘Octopus’ conspiracy. Kinging the network of deceit, and putting together some-but-not-all of the previous major themes of conspiracy theory, into a new map, self-evidential, well sourced context. In a nutshell, the secret financial elite at the heart of the scandal have Nazi, CIA and Tsarist affiliations, well documented all about the internet. “Ah-haa’ the Internet, i hear some skeptical voices say, anything is true on the internet!” Yeah, anything is true, false, meaningless and indeterminate both on, and off the web. Think for yourself. My best advice.

Be that statement as it may, the meticulous and diligent research by Dr Wilson for over 30 years, before the world wide web went world wide, remains a critical body of work, documenting and following the shadowy trail of Nazi’s, spies and banker elites, before during and after the second world war, right up to the moment at which he was writing. Right up to January 2007, when he sadly passed away, and for the most part, ignored by the worlds journalists and scholars. Now, in April of 2016, his work still helps me and with luck you, dear reader, to cut through the fog of mainstream disinformation, and lead the reader into new perspectives and a broader understanding of The Panama Papers. Smoke Em' Out.

My research for this article was done on the web for the most part, and includes ideas from publications by Robert Anton Wilson. Might i sign off with an important reminder that, from what i experienced, that Dr Wilson liked to promote thinking in probabilities, and warn the reader/researcher to avoid thinking in certainties, and wherever possible, adopt a language that reflects this proba-ballistic thinking, rooted in ideas from Alfred Korzybski, the creator or the field of general semantics. Make up your own mind, do your own research, question everything, especially authority.

For the rest of this article i will provide quotes, and some embedded media. Thanks to all the software developers, open source advocates, Pythonians, bloggers and journalists everywhere for your shared tools and open ended questions.

Mass Fascism Of Trump Psychology.

Don't run. Have the courage to look at yourself!—Wilhelm Reich, Little Man.

For over a year now I’ve resisted writing about, or giving energy to DonTrump, the Donald Trump campain, and his fanatical hordes of supporters. Perhaps I was wrong to ignore him? Maybe I should have started writing and warning my friends about him sooner? But how many of my friends are Trump supporters, how many would read these words and act upon them, who would follow the links that I recommend?

A note on tsarist occupation government

This paragraph from wikipedia
helps define, a small part
of what Robert Anton Wilson mean't
in his acronym: TSOG.
IMO.

TSarist
Occupation
Government

T.S.O.G

--Steve Fly

"The person of the tsar himself, a sovereign with absolute authority, stood at the center of the tsarist autocracy.[9] The rights of state power in their entire extent belonged to the tsar. The autocrat further entrusted power to persons and institutions, acting in his name, by his orders, and within the limits laid down for them by law. The purpose of the system was to supposedly benefit the entire country of Russia.[9] A metaphor existed likening the tsar to a father, and all of the subjects of the Empire, to his children; this metaphor even appeared in Orthodox primers.[10] This metaphor is present in the common Russian expression "царь-батюшка", literally "tsar-dear father".Furthermore, unlike in western monarchies subject (in religious matters) to the Pope, the Russian Empire combined monarchy with the supreme authority on religious issues (see Church reform of Peter I and caesaropapism for details).
Another key feature related to patrimonialism. In Russia the tsar owned a much higher proportion of the state (lands, enterprises, etc.) than did Western monarchs.[11][12][13][14][15][16]The tsarist autocracy had many supporters within Russia. Major Russian advocates and theorists of the autocracy included writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky,[3][17] Mikhail N. Katkov,[18] Konstantin S. Aksakov,[19] Nikolay Karamzin,[17] Konstantin Pobedonostsev[3][9] and Pyotr Semyonov. They all argued that a strong and prosperous Russia needed a strong tsar, and that philosophies of republicanism and liberal democracy did not fit Russia.[3]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsarist_autocracy

"Most people think the TSOG [Tsarist Occupation Government] began its infestation of America with George Bush Sr., when he appointed a Tsar to discombobulate our previously democratic form of government; but Bush had a long C.I.A. career behind him and the C.I.A. had a long, long Tsarist history before they came out in the open with a public and blatant Tsar, a functionary not endowed or permitted by any clause in our Constitution.--http://www.rawilson.com/tsog.html

Seth Blake on The United States of Paranoia : A Conspiracy Theory.

A great book, and the chapter 'Operation Mindfuck' of particular interest to RAW fans and heads. Enjoy, steve fly.

Seth Blake on The United States of Paranoia : A Conspiracy Theory

Walker proceeds to lay out a general taxonomy of American conspiracy theories, “five primal myths […]  archetypes that can absorb all kinds of allegations, true or not, and arrange them into a familiar form.” These he distinguishes as “The Enemy Outside” (foreign actors who plot society’s downfall from a distance); “The Enemy Within” (domestic threats to the status quo); “The Enemy Above” (conspiracies of the ruling classes); “The Enemy Below” (conspiracies of the lower classes and social pariahs); and “The Benevolent Conspiracy” (a secret force working behind the scenes to improve people’s lives).

Enumerating examples of these five primal myths and how they have recurred and recombined throughout American history, Walker is able to convincingly illustrate how conspiracy narratives that may appear at first glance to be isolated, episodic interludes specific to the idiosyncratic circumstances of a particular era or social sphere, though distortions, are also real manifestations of enduring facets of a national consciousness. Conspiracy theories, according to Walker, and contra Hofstadter, are endemic rather than aberrant phenomena, and manifest at every level of American society.

In a particularly telling example, Walker traces the myth of The Enemy Outside from the period between the Pequot and King Philip’s wars (when English colonists’ fears of a “universall [sic] combination” of Indians lead them to form The New England Confederation) to the contemporary misunderstandings by US policymakers concerning the diffuse nature of al-Qaeda (Walker cites a Washington Post from 2012 that referred to Bin Laden as a “terrorist CEO in an isolated compound”). In both cases, an inaccurate but powerful metaphor — diverse and diffuse Indian societies likened to the absolute monarchies of Europe on the one hand, a diverse and diffuse terrorist network likened to a private corporation on the other — opened up a space for conspiratorial thinking and mythical misreadings that lead to reaction-formations with devastating real-world consequences. For infamous conspiracy theorist John Todd — who for nearly four decades beginning in the late 1970s, wound a crooked path across the United States, speaking at churches and community centers about the intertwining plots of the Illuminati, the Freemasons, witches, Jesus movements, and the music industry — the toll of belief came at a no less devastating individual cost: estrangement from his friends and family, frequent arrests, institutionalization, and an early death.

Walker’s chapter on conspiracy spoofs and spoofers is a more lighthearted counterpoint to the personal and political tragedies detailed in much of the book, and also may be his most effective. Here he discusses the Church of the SubGenius (a wicked send-up of New Age religions and self-help guides, ostensibly led by the beatific, pipe-smoking übermensch “Bob Dobbs”) and The Realist, a magazine that often printed earnestly submitted conspiracy theories alongside deadpan satires of the same. Just as science fiction author Robert Anton Wilson’s The Illuminatus! Trilogy came to serve as a sort of primary text for those who actually believe that its eponymous secret society manipulates global events, the communities fostered by these intended hoaxes were, in fact, very real. For a short time in the early seventies, Paul Krassner, the editor of The Realist, even became convinced that people were following him: as Krassner’s explains: “I thought that what I published was so important that I wanted to be persecuted, in order to validate the work.”

If Walker has, as he claims, written a sort of contemporary American demonology, it is populated by demons of the antique tradition: not necessarily evil spirits, but ones capable, like the humans who invented them, of a wide range of behavior. Perhaps a better term to describe the form of The United States of Paranoia is a bestiary. What differentiates the bestiary as a form most from its more buttoned down cousin, the encyclopedia, is the transparency of its animating ethos. In contrast to the definitional, indexical project of the encyclopedia — whose scriptural tone foregrounds its status as the official book of record, as much as possible striving to erase the specter of human authorship — the bestiary is essayistic, speculative, and most importantly, allegorical. It is as much a work of moral instruction for the beasts that read it as the beasts with which it is ostensibly concerned.

Conspiracy theories, like religious beliefs, have the power to transfigure the believer, and our hardwired apophenia — our tendency to read meaning into random and meaningless data — may lead us to stretch even the most homely and harmless of these theories far past the point of credibility or charm. For all the scope of The United States of Paranoia, Walker’s moral is ultimately a humble one: as Kurt Vonnegut wrote, “we are what we pretend to be.”

RAW and the Ontological Status of Conspiracy Theory by Hakim Bey

Rather than speak of conspiracy theory we might instead try to construct a poetics of conspiracy. A conspiracy would be treated like an aesthetic construct, or a language-construct, and could be analyzed like a text. Robert Anton Wilson has done this with his vast and playful "Illuminati" fantasy. --http://hermetic.com/bey/conspire.html

Machiavelli Mafia Atoms and Oil (MMAO)

Bob's grand encyclopedic writings on the subject of conspiracies covered a hell of a lot of ground, in this interview with Richard Smoley for Gnosis magazine, he highlights some of the more probable conspiracy theories, that since the interview in 1998 have proved themselves to be accurate predictions, based on earlier theories of Buckminster Fuller and deployed in Wilson's species of Maybelogic.

Smoley: Of all the conspiracies you've looked at over the years, which ones are you most inclined to believe in?

Wilson: I put them on a scale from zero to ten. With the ones I put above five, I'm more inclined to give then credit than to doubt theta. The ones I put above seven, that's pretty close to belief, except I try to shy away from belief, I think it's a dangerous state to get into.
Bucky Fuller has a theory of the Great Pirates - the sociopathic types who have always been the dominant force in history. The Great Pirates in modern times make up a group the abbreviates "MMAO": Machiavelli, Mafia, atoms, and oil. It's the international banks, the Mafia, and the atomic and oil cartels. He doesn't claim they work together, but they more or less make a singular force. But he also says that they're so engaged in conflicts with one another that they're steering Spaceship Earth in 50 different directions, which is why we're going around and we're not getting anywhere. I tend to find that fairly credible. A simplification of it is Carl Oglesby's theory of the Yankee and Cowboy War - the war between Western and old Eastern wealth. Those seem fairly credible to me.--Robert Anton Wilson, 1998.

SEX DRUGS AND MAGICK: Robert Anton Wilson

SEX DRUGS AND MAGICK: Robert Anton Wilson.
From the PREFACE:

The 1973 author of this book never could have imagined a State so crazily totalitarian, or a population so brainwashed into sheep-like submissiveness, that such absurdities could occur. But then, only Kafka and Orwell in their most eerie satires on bureaucracy-gone-bonkers could imagine an obscenity like our Piss Police. The State in which we live can only accurately be called Urine Nation.

How can this happen in a once-free Republic where searches of the person are forbidden except by court order after probable cause has been shown? Urine Nation, posing as the representatives of you and me, is engaged in an alleged "War on Drugs." That justifies trashing the Constitution.

Now this is, on the face of it, absurd.

1. Wars on drugs or other insensible things (objects, sub-stances) can only be carried on by lunatics. The Con cannot be accused of insanity: of ignorance, yes, and of fear, greed and zoning laws, but not of being batshit crazy. They are not making war on chemicals—or on the laws of physics, or anything of that sort. They are making war on the American people—on all of us, although only a few of us know that yet.

For instance, as you may read in Pissing Away the American Dream (Pissing Away the American Dream, edited by David Ross, Digit Press), on January 1989 the Minneapolis police smashed down the door of the home of an elderly Black couple, using "flash bang" grenades which accidentally set the house on fire and killed both old people.

The cops were looking for "drugs," but never found any. The chief of police justified the murders of two innocent citizens (and the total violation of the Fourth Amendment) by saying, "This is war."

The war is being waged against people, not chemicals, and it is people who get killed.

2. Even within the off-kilter logic of its own rhetoric, the "War on Drugs" is nonsense.

If you go out your door and drive a few blocks, they say, you will find at least one store boldly declaring that they sell DRUGS, although some say PHARMACY, which can only be deciphered by those who know Greek roots; and in these stores, hundreds of drugs are available. Nearby is a supermarket where you can buy cigarettes, containing nicotine, a drug more addictive than heroin according to former Surgeon General Koop. Next door is a BAR where you can buy dozens of varieties of C2H30H, a heavily addictive substance, statistically linked to wife and child battering, divorce and violent crime.

Urine Nation, thus, is not making war on all drugs, or drug- users, but only on some. The government asserts that the drugs on their taboo list are the worst ones; skeptics like me say they are merely the ones that are either (a) cheap and effective, like herbal medicines, and/or (b) not easy to monopolize, like marijuana or (c) better than the higher priced drugs manufactured by the large pharmaceutical corporations that financially support both political parties.

The only people literally "at war" with drugs—all drugs—are the Christian Scientists. Eight of them are currently appealing their convictions for refusing to give their children the drugs ordained from on high by the Con/MMAO.

As Count Bismarck once said, "Laws are like sausages: you have much more respect for them if you haven't actually seen how they're made."

Many of the chemicals and herbs forbidden by the Con are not only harmless, but are widely believed to be beneficial. The war against the users of these substances is just as vicious as the wars against all other substances on the taboo list.

Over the past 10 years, the Food and Drug Administration has engaged in raids on alternative health companies - companies operating openly and, they thought, legally - that more and more tend toward the violence of DEA raids on suspected crack dealers. In every case, the companies were selling vitamins and herbs that a growing minority of the medical profession approves but which MMAO and the FDA do not approve.

For instance, in 1990, the FDA raided the offices of Dr. Jonathan Wright, a fully qualified physician with an M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School, terrorized the staff with drawn guns, and seized all the vitamins and herbs they could find. They never did file criminal charges against Dr. Wright for the heresy of giving his patients cheap medicines instead of expensive ones, but this raid was only one of hundreds of similar Gestapo-style operations, creating what libertarians call "a chilling effect" on scientific freedom.
